Community Guidelines.

1. Scope

These standards apply to every profile, handle, ROAD, entry, image, location, measure, link, team application, invitation, task, message, report and other contribution made through ROAD. They form part of the Terms of Use.

2. Respect and safety

Do not threaten, harass, stalk, intimidate, bully, humiliate or target another person. Do not promote hatred or discrimination based on race, ethnicity, nationality, religion, disability, sex, gender identity, sexual orientation, age or another protected or vulnerable characteristic. Do not encourage self-harm, suicide, eating-disorder harm or dangerous conduct.

3. Sexual exploitation

Child sexual abuse material, grooming, sexual exploitation, trafficking, non-consensual intimate material and sexual content involving or apparently involving anyone under 18 are prohibited. Do not upload, download, copy, screenshot or forward suspected illegal imagery. Use the urgent route in Reporting & Safety and the appropriate law-enforcement or specialist service.

4. Illegal and dangerous content

Do not facilitate terrorism, violence, weapons offences, controlled-drug supply, fraud, theft, evasion of law enforcement, illegal gambling, exploitation or other crime. Do not publish instructions that create a material risk of serious physical harm. A documentary claim that an activity occurred does not make unlawful conduct acceptable.

5. Privacy and identity

Do not expose another person’s address, precise location, contact details, identity document, medical information, private correspondence or account credential without a lawful and necessary reason. Do not impersonate another person or organisation, fabricate team authority, or claim ROAD verification, qualification, sponsorship or professional endorsement that does not exist.

6. Integrity

Do not use ROAD for scams, spam, coordinated manipulation, fake engagement, misleading links, malware, credential capture, scraping, unauthorised automation, access-control evasion or service disruption. Do not file content merely to create a deceptive certificate or public record. ROAD does not independently verify member claims.

7. Rights and evidence

Submit only content you created or are entitled to use. Obtain permission from identifiable people where required. Check images for faces, homes, screens, documents and children before uploading. Avoid unnecessary health, treatment, medication or safeguarding information, especially in ordinary fields without the designated sensitive-consent flow.

8. Teams

Team leaders must use applications, invitations, tasks and member data only for the genuine team purpose and within their authority. They must not coerce public disclosure, demand unsafe activity, collect unnecessary sensitive data or use ROAD as a substitute for safeguarding, employment, coaching or medical processes.

9. Enforcement

ROAD can restrict an entry, ROAD or public profile; revoke team access; preserve evidence; record a moderation outcome; or take another proportionate step available in the service or required by law. Serious or repeated breaches can lead ROAD to end the contractual right to use the service, subject to law and controls ROAD can actually operate.

Context, severity, intent, recurrence, risk, legal duties and the rights of affected people are considered. No automated text filter makes the final legal determination.

10. Reports and appeals

Report content or conduct through the in-app control or the non-user route in Reporting & Safety. A person affected by a moderation decision can request review by emailing contact@roadco.uk with subject “Moderation appeal”, identifying the decision and explaining why it should change. An appeal should be reviewed by a person not solely relying on the original automated signal where practicable.
